Meet Our Stratford Dental Team
We Treat You Like Family

Our dental team at Stratford Smiles is energetic and caring, and we pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming environment for all who visit. When you first set foot in our office, you are part of the family!
Maria, Front Office Coordinator

Originally from Derby, CT, Maria attended a training program to become a dental assistant. She later made her way to working as a front office coordinator, where she gets to help manage the practice and create a plan for our team to work as efficiently as possible. With nearly two decades of experience and counting, she loves knowing that she helps make a difference in someone’s life, whether it’s offering a kind word or simply making a patient feel safe and cared for during their dental journey. Being a source of comfort and positivity for others is incredibly rewarding for her.
If you don’t find her at the office, Maria is typically spending time with her family. She’s a proud mother of three beautiful girls and a grandmother to a sweet little boy. Family is everything to her, and she cherishes going on trips and sharing Sunday dinners with her loved ones to stay connected. She also has a passion for cooking—her creative outlet—and running a small catering business. No matter how busy life gets for her, she always enjoys being the person who lifts others when they need it most.
Kenaisha, Dental Hygienist

A native of Stratford, Kenaisha graduated from the University of Bridgeport before attending Fones School of Dental Hygiene. She was a dental assistant for about three years before becoming a dental hygienist. She also volunteered at many community clinics through the CT-Mission of Mercy to give back to those in need with free dental care. She’s even certified in local anesthesia, CPR, and BLS. The thing she loves most about her job is getting to know so many different patients and building connections with each of them while working alongside an incredible team.
Outside of the dental office, Kenaisha usually spends time with her family and their dog and creating new memories. Whether this is taking a weekend trip, having game nights, or relaxing with loved ones, being able to find joy in the little things is very important to her. Other than family time, she enjoys going to concerts, discovering new restaurants, picking up new hobbies like painting, going for a hike or to the gym, or walking her dog. She’s also a bit competitive and loves pushing herself while having fun with it.
