Meet Our Stratford Dental Team
We Treat You Like Family

Our dental team at Stratford Smiles is energetic and caring, and we pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming environment for all who visit. When you first set foot in our office, you are part of the family!
Maria, Front Office Coordinator

Originally from Derby, CT, Maria attended a training program to become a dental assistant. She later made her way to working as a front office coordinator, where she gets to help manage the practice and create a plan for our team to work as efficiently as possible. With nearly two decades of experience and counting, she loves knowing that she helps make a difference in someone’s life, whether it’s offering a kind word or simply making a patient feel safe and cared for during their dental journey. Being a source of comfort and positivity for others is incredibly rewarding for her.
If you don’t find her at the office, Maria is typically spending time with her family. She’s a proud mother of three beautiful girls and a grandmother to a sweet little boy. Family is everything to her, and she cherishes going on trips and sharing Sunday dinners with her loved ones to stay connected. She also has a passion for cooking—her creative outlet—and running a small catering business. No matter how busy life gets for her, she always enjoys being the person who lifts others when they need it most.
Kenaisha, Dental Hygienist

A native of Stratford, Kenaisha graduated from the University of Bridgeport before attending Fones School of Dental Hygiene. She was a dental assistant for about three years before becoming a dental hygienist. She also volunteered at many community clinics through the CT-Mission of Mercy to give back to those in need with free dental care. She’s even certified in local anesthesia, CPR, and BLS. The thing she loves most about her job is getting to know so many different patients and building connections with each of them while working alongside an incredible team.
Outside of the dental office, Kenaisha usually spends time with her family and their dog and creating new memories. Whether this is taking a weekend trip, having game nights, or relaxing with loved ones, being able to find joy in the little things is very important to her. Other than family time, she enjoys going to concerts, discovering new restaurants, picking up new hobbies like painting, going for a hike or to the gym, or walking her dog. She’s also a bit competitive and loves pushing herself while having fun with it.
Stephanie, Dental Hygienist

Stephanie has been working in the dental field for several years, building experience in both general and periodontal settings with a strong focus on patient comfort and education. She completed her education at the University of New Haven and brings a calm, reassuring presence to patient care, especially when helping those who feel anxious about treatment.
Originally from Brookfield, CT, Stephanie is currently settling into life in Stratford with her husband and their baby boy after recently completing a home renovation together. When she’s not at work, she enjoys paddleboarding, cooking, and winding down while watching Netflix. She has also traveled extensively and enjoys learning about new cultures, foods, and traditions through those experiences.
Destiny, Dental Assistant

Destiny has spent more than a decade in dentistry, developing strong clinical skills and a steady, supportive presence chairside. She attended Porter and Chester Institute of Stratford, earning certifications in radiology and infection control. Over the years, she has become known for her hands-on approach and ability to help patients feel comfortable and cared for, while also supporting the clinical team in delivering smooth, efficient care throughout the day.
Born and raised in Ansonia, CT, Destiny’s life is centered around her family and loved ones. With four children, her days are often filled with school activities, park outings, and creative time spent together. She enjoys being closely involved in their lives and sharing in their everyday moments. One fun fact about her is that she always knew dentistry was in the cards for her ever since she pulled out her first tooth!
